Daniele Sestagalli, co-founder of the DeFi-focused altcoin project Wonderland, tweeted on December 30 that the Avalanche-based reserve currency experiment had ended, leading the TIME token to collapse. In recent developments, the scandalous co-founder renders funds untraceable with a widely known cryptocurrency mixer.

Wonderland co-founder initiates money laundering process

QuadrigaCX developer and ex-con, Michael Patryn, also known as Sifu, resorts to cryptocurrency mixer solutions to obscure funds. The co-founder of the project moved 1,000 ETH to the mixer. The rationale behind this is not yet clear. However, it is still unclear whether the funds sent to the mixer were stolen directly from the treasury, according to the Wonderland community. On the other hand, many members stated that there is no need to use money laundering services to deal with legally received funds.

Operations in the mixing software have recently taken place. Unfortunately, there is no way to track the coins sent to the mixing contract once the transaction is complete. TIME token has yet to give a major reaction to the unfortunate event that has occurred in the project community.

The latest status of the altcoin project

The scandalous founder’s first acquisition of the partner’s QuadrigaCX Canadian crypto exchange was made by crypto detective zachxbt. After the initial investigation, the myriad of evidence that emerged soon after caused a panic in the community as they tried to vote for the scandalous individual. One of the founders of the project tried to convince the public of Sifu’s honesty and transparency, while the vote resulted in Patryn being removed from the project. Shortly after, voting on the treasury’s creed began. Some members are still convinced of Patryn’s honesty and believe that recent transactions to money laundering services are just a way to restore some privacy while she’s been out of sight for the past two weeks.
