The billionaire founder and chairman of Netmarble, Bang Jun-hyuk, spoke at the press conference as follows;

“Blockchain-based games made by Netmarble will be integrated into games via NFT. I believe that this industry will grow even more than it already is.”

20 New Games To Be Released Using Blockchain Technology

Bang announced that Netmarble is preparing to launch 20 new games, about 70% of which will use blockchain technology.

The new game A3: Still Alive is one of them, a play-to-win game that allows users to earn in-game assets such as weapons with cryptocurrency. A3: Still Alive will be Netmarble’s first play-to-win game and is expected to be released in March.

Another game, Everybody’s Marble: Metaworld, uses metaverse and NFT technologies, allowing players to purchase land in a virtual world. Netmarble said in a statement that players can also build and trade real estate with “NFTized.”

Bang continued his speech as follows;

“The metaverse will not only convey various elements from the game, but will also combine with blockchain technology to create a second real world beyond the virtual.”
