When the first smart tablets were released, everyone thought it was a silly idea. What would anyone do with a huge smartphone? Of course, at the same time, Apple, which released the iPad in 2010, was laughing and saying “that’s right my brother”. Today, we all see how popular and functional tablets are.

Oddly enough, Google noticed this a little too late. Of course, Google tablets have been released before, and many third-party Android smart tablets have also been released to date. But Google’s latest tablet was the Pixel C. It looks like Google is planning to turn to tablets again.

“We believe the future of computing lies in more powerful and functional tablets”

According to a new job posting on Google, the company wants to re-enter the tablet market. Posted position Senior Engineering Manager, Android Tablet App Experience (Senior Engineering Manager, Android Tablet App Experience). Here is Google’s statement:

“We believe the future of computing lies in more powerful and functional tablets. We’re working to bring people to the next phase of computing and data entry by launching seamless support across our platforms and experiences that unlock new and better ways to be productive and creative. ”

Of course, these job postings do not mean that a new Google tablet is coming, but it is clear that Google wants to launch more Android tablets, at least by working with third-party companies. For Android tablets to be successful, third-party companies need Google’s support, and Google has only just realized this.
