Cayman Islands-based digital asset firm Galaxy Digital has filed a filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to move its headquarters to Delaware.
The company also plans to be listed on the Nasdaq stock exchange. Galaxy Digital, founded by Mike Novogratz, aims to be traded with the symbol “GLXY”. The company’s shares are currently traded on the Toronto Stock Exchange with the same symbol.
The SEC is currently reviewing the application. Nasdaq listing must first be approved by the SEC.
The new regulations will also be subject to approval by several regulatory authorities, including Galaxy Digital shareholders and the Toronto Stock Exchange.
