The Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi alliance has unveiled its roadmap to 2030. In this context, Nissan has announced that it will launch an all-new electric car for Europe. The model in question will replace the Micra.
In a statement from the company, it was stated that the new electric car will be designed by Nissan, but engineering and production will be carried out by Renault. The model, whose design hint video is also shared, will be built on the alliance’s CMF B-EV platform. In this context, it is possible to say that the electric Renault 5 will be a platform twin. Therefore, the technical characteristics of the two models will be similar.

In addition, the illuminated Nissan logo on the front and vertical lights on the bumper edges are also striking. In the profile view, the aerodynamic rims of the compact model emerge. In addition, the columns, side mirror caps, roof and rear spoiler are designed in black, with the exception of the C-pillar.
The yet-to-be-named model will be produced at Renault ElectriCity headquarters in northern France. Nissan believes that the model will reflect the brand’s own DNA in terms of design, even though Renault has engineered and produced the model.
