Twitch has become such a huge video streaming platform in recent years that the size of the number of users it has reached brings with it many discussions and accusations, both right and wrong. A significant change has been made to the platform, where thousands of different users and creators are removed every day. In this sense, an information message will be published about users who are no longer on Twitch.
Information will be given about profiles that cannot be reached on Twitch
Twitch management, which published an announcement via its official Twitter account this week, announced that Twitch users will encounter a message when they visit a deleted or suspended channel in the new period. This message will clearly state whether the channel has been suspended, banned by Twitch, or personally disabled by the user.
According to the statement made by Twitch, if the remainder is banned by Twitch, there will be a statement saying, “This channel is currently unavailable due to violation of Twitch’s Community Guidelines or Terms of Service”. Just like in the past, bugs will feature a small Twitch ghost icon and background and redirect to channels of similar nature.
As you may remember, Twitch users in the past period, when they could not reach a channel, said, “Sorry. If you don’t have a time machine, they were greeted with a message such as ‘This content cannot be used’.
This message simply stated that the channel could not be accessed and did not indicate whether the user was banned by Twitch. In this way, users will learn whether they can access the channel they follow again. On the other hand, the famous video streaming platform does not currently intend to show why the channel was banned. The reason for the ban is expected to be presented to users in the new period.
