While Apple became the focus of attention by consumers with its iPhone 13 series, good sales carried the US company to the leadership seat once again. According to the reports shared by the market analysis company Canalys, Apple is ahead of its biggest rival Samsung, which has a 20 percent sales success with its 22 percent market share in total sales in the last quarter of 2021. Thus, Apple took back the leadership seat as the world’s largest phone manufacturer.
Canalys Analyst Sanyam Chaurasia said on the subject, “Apple returned to the top of the smartphone market after 3 quarters thanks to the performance of the iPhone 13,” while the US company’s position at the top of the list undoubtedly upsets Samsung.
Apple’s position in the leadership seat drops Samsung to the 2nd place, while Xiaomi takes the 3rd place with 12 percent. Oppo ranks 4th on the list with 9 percent, followed by Vivo with 8 percent market share.
