Perhaps the most popular villain of the DC comics universe and even of all the comics universes, the Joker has managed to become the favorite villain of many people. The Joker character, who has appeared as the enemy of the dark knight in many Batman films from the 1980s to the present, and attracted attention again with his own solo film in 2019, this time managed to be the subject of an interesting event.
A police force in the USA, while trying to test the emergency test message feature, accidentally published a message that the Joker was seen in Gotham Cirty. Some citizens who saw this were surprised, while others shared this situation on social media.
Joker in Gotham City
In the test message sent by the Missouri State Highway Patrol teams in the incident in the US state of Missouri, it was written that the purple and green 1978 model Dodge 3700 GT, used by the Joker in the 1989 Batman movie, was seen in Gotham City. Highway Patrol headquarters later said in a statement on their Twitter account that the notification sent was a test message and not an emergency.
This event, which seems strange to many of us, has actually become quite ordinary for those living in various parts of the USA. A similar test message was sent in Texas last year. In the message, it was written that the famous horror movie character killer baby Chucky took his son hostage with a huge knife.
Of course, apart from the warnings containing this movie reference, there were also scary false warnings. In 2018, citizens in the state of Hawaii received a warning message that a ballistic missile was coming towards them and they should hide. The panicked public breathed a sigh of relief after the mayor’s belated statement.
Here are some reactions to the warning
At least now you know that Batman lives in Missouri.
I got this warning but I wasn’t worried. I knew Batman would be interested.
Joker is real, I repeat Joker is real.
Joker is real, I knew it.
