Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire: Cedrig Diggory’s final scene

Harry Potter is a very special production that we do not know how many times we have watched it even though it has been years since its finale. In the 4th movie of Harry Potter, one of the movies we grew up with, there is a character named Cedrig, who is actually Harry’s rival but not a bad person. In the scene where Voldemort is brought back by Wormtail, we see this young and successful name killed. Combined with the return of Voldemort, this pathetic scene gets extremely emotional. In fact, Cedrig’s father’s reaction when he saw his son’s dead body showed us that the Harry Potter movie was no longer a children’s movie.

Look Up: Opening scene

Look Up is a very good animated movie. In the scene at the beginning of the movie, we see two young children who will live together until the last moment of their lives. These two names, who have beautiful dreams, get married, buy a house and beautify the house with their own hands. The duo, who want to have a child but can’t, save up for the journey they dreamed of as a child. But life will not proceed that way.

Don’t Lose Hope: Job Interview

Actually, this scene is not a sad scene. On the contrary, it is a scene that we would call pure happiness. However, seeing that our character, who had difficulties with his son throughout the movie, came out of the difficult process with this scene, made many people shed tears of happiness.

Green Mile: The execution scene

The Green Mile is still the kind of production that many people call “my best movie” even after many years have passed. In the last scene, we see John Coffey, who was sentenced to death for something he did not do, being executed. This scene is such an emotional scene that I’m sure even the person who says “I don’t cry” is pushing too hard.

Father and Son: The day Deniz goes to school

In one of Çağan Irmak’s most admired films, My Father and My Son, the scene where Deniz, who became silent after her father’s death, wants her father is heartbreaking. In fact, we can say that every scene of the movie is emotional, but this scene raises the bar to a very different dimension.

I Am Legend – Dog scene

We know that Will Smith tells a lot with facial expressions. We watched a very successful performance from him in the zombie movie I Am Legend. The scene in the middle of the movie where he had to strangle his dog friend, who was about to turn into a zombie, made many people sad.

Interstellar – Tape scene

He starts to see the lost time of our character, who is looking for different planets by entering a wormhole to save the people on Earth, which is now disappearing, with the video messages he receives after returning from the planet near the black hole. Our character, who sees his children growing up, experiences extremely emotional moments.

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix: Sirius Black’s final scene

One of the things Harry Potter does best is to make us feel like we’re one of them. That’s why the events that happened break our hearts even more. In the 5th movie of the series, we see Harry Potter’s godfather murdered. This scene hurt Harry Potter fans a lot.

Avengers: Endgame: Iron Man’s final scene

The scene where Iron Man, one of the most beloved characters of the Marvel cinematic universe, defeated Thanos and died, brought all movie theaters to tears. Of course, the death of a character that you are so attached to can hurt.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince: Dumbledore’s final scene

There has always been a sad event in the last films of Harry Potter. There is also a scene in Half-Blood Prince that shocked us all. In this scene we see Albus Dumbledore being killed by Snape. The death of Dumbledore, the only wizard Voldemort feared, and what happened after, created extremely sad moments.

Titanic: Sea scene

Titanic is one of those movies that can be considered emotional from start to finish. However, in the final scene, the cries of the people who were trapped in the freezing water after the sinking of the ship created a painful sense of empathy for many. Especially in the scene where Jack froze to death, people could not control their tears.

Marley and Me: Marley’s final scene

If you have had a pet before, this movie will make you very sad. It seems very difficult to control your tears, especially in the last scene where Marley dies.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2: Snape’s final scene

Not many people like Snape, who is known for the annoying things and evil he always does until the last moment of Harry Potter. But with the revelations in that one final scene, Snape suddenly became one of everyone’s favorite characters. The scene where we see what Snape, who loved Harry’s mother all his life, actually did, became more striking right after Snape’s death.

We have come to the end of our list for now. There are countless movies in the world and of course there are just as many emotional scenes. As I mentioned above, although we have looked at user comments sourced sites such as Ekşi Sözlük, this content is semi-subjective; in other words, it includes films that make me sad as a writer. By writing the movies you are most sad about in the comments section, we try to include these movies when we update our content. Also, if you want this kind of content to come, don’t forget to meet us in the comments section.
