A YouTuber named Akaki Kuumeri has created a brand new concept design on his own, which we can describe as very thoughtful. This concept study, which will be very beneficial especially for people who cannot use one hand, was made on a PlayStation 5 arm.
In his design, YouTuber has produced an apparatus that you can use the PlayStation 5 handle with one hand. Let’s take a look at the details of the apparatus that Kuumeri shared and produced in a way that everyone can download.
The apparatus that allows you to use the PlayStation 5 handle with one hand was produced with a 3D printer
Designed by Kuumeri for a competition, the apparatus for using this PlayStation 5 with one hand was produced with a 3D printer. Thanks to the design of the device, you can control the left arrow keys, L2 and L1 keys and the left analog using only your right hand. Thanks to an additional snap-on mechanism, you can access the touch part of the arm.
In this way, individuals who can use only one hand can enjoy the PlayStation 5 experience comfortably. Kuumeri’s design was prepared for a 3D printer company called PrusaPrinters for a competition called ‘Snap-On Controller Mods’ and is only one of 124 designs. You can check out other designs here.
It’s a bit of a shame that Sony has kept quiet about this and is focusing on a new VR headset instead of focusing on useful stuff like this. Adapters and peripherals like this are a huge step forward in making gaming accessible to everyone. What do you think about this subject? Please do not forget to express your thoughts in the comments.
