READING NOW LinkedIn is also joining the Clubhouse trend!

Although the audio social media brought by Clubhouse has lost its popularity rapidly, we can say that Clubhouse is still a good place for political discussions or business life. Not surprisingly, Facebook, Twitter, and even Reddit have copied the idea since Clubhouse became popular. Now, LinkedIn is next, and the purpose of the platform is to conduct business discussions.

Clubhouse feature coming to LinkedIn app in February

Virtual events that can only be accessed by invitation became more needed with the pandemic. Before the Clubhouse became popular, we often saw conferences around, where there was already an attendee and audience. The popularity of Clubhouse provided the motivation to other applications that a social media application could be created just on this idea. We were waiting for LinkedIn, which is indispensable for the business world, to bring a similar feature, and it is finally happening.

Even though the exact date of the feature’s future has not been announced, it has been pointed out next month. In other words, we can say that LinkedIn will meet with a Clubhouse-like feature in February. We expect to see an environment with moderators like Twitter Spaces. While we don’t expect them to be hugely different from Clubhouse or their competitors, it’s easier to discover conversations that interest us if there’s good synchronization on LinkedIn.

So far, the number of platforms that have adapted Clubhouse to their own application is quite high. Even Spotify has been involved in this in the past months. Despite this gruesome-looking partial plagiarism, we wonder how Clubhouse will go. Although its popularity has faded quite quickly, it is still used by members of the business world.
