South Korea-based game developer WeMade, which gained popularity with the MMORPG series Legend of Mir, now hosts many players with MIR4. The main attraction of MIR4 is the opportunity to earn crypto money in the game, while the developer company announced its new game the other day.

WeMade, who is willing to continue the Mir series, announced the Legend of Ymir, the game that includes new technologies in the series. Putting the Mir legend in a disguise inspired by Scandinavian legends, the company has also released a video explaining the game’s graphics and some of the technical details behind it. Legend of Ymir is developed using Unreal Engine 5 and thus offers very high-end graphics.

The trailer for Legend of Ymir:

In the video released for Legend of Ymir, it was announced that the new game will have blockchain support just like MIR4 and will include NFTs. MIR4, which can be played for free today, also has these features that are said to be found in Legend of Ymir. So where exactly do MIR4 and Legend of Ymir differ from each other?

The main factor that separates Legend of Ymir and MIR4 will be the graphics and theme of the game. Unlike MIR4, which is on the Asian theme, the new game will be based on Northern European legends and will offer a great improvement in terms of graphics. Using the Unreal Engine 5 game engine, the game will have high quality textures, lighting and character design as we see in the video. The game takes advantage of Lumen and Nanite from Unreal Engine 5 and Epic Games’ MetaHuman Creator tools.

There is no detailed information about the game for now. It is also among the information that is not shared when the game will be released or on which platforms it will be published. The developers only messaged players that “we will return with a well-made next-gen MMORPG”. We will also soon see how much of the graphics shown in the video will appear in the final game.
