Lenovo Legion Y700, new details about its features have emerged
Lenovo product manager Lin Lin recently published a blog post about the Legion Y700 on the Chinese microblogging site Weibo. Thus, new details about the technical features and technologies of the player tablet have emerged.
In the blog post, it was announced that the Legion Y700 will come with a feature called ‘Ultra Wide Viewing Mode’. It was stated that if this mode is activated, the tablet with 16:10 or 16:9 aspect ratio will switch to 21:10 and offer more screen content to users in MOBA games such as Honor of Kings and League of Legends.
After the aspect ratio is 21:10, two black bars will appear at the top and bottom. If users wish, they will be able to create their own screen modes by swiping these bars.
The gaming tablet will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor, although it is not clear at the moment. Produced with 7 nm architecture, the chipset is in addition to one 3.2 GHz ARM Cortex-A77 (Kryo 585), three 2.4 GHz ARM Cortex-A77 (Kryo 585) and four 1.8 GHz ARM Cortex-A55 cores. It will include the Adreno 650 graphics unit.
In addition, it will come with an 8. 8-inch AMOLED panel with 2560 × 1600 resolution, 120 Hz refresh and 240 Hz touch sampling rate with 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut. There will also be a 3.5mm headphone jack and stereo speakers.
It is currently unknown when the Legion Y700 model will be released. However, previous reports point to February or March for the launch.
