Dead by Daylight developers put an end to the long-standing debate. The production, which has an important place in the popularity of horror games again, is making minor changes. Producer studio Behavior Interactive has decided to listen to complaints from players.

The character, which appears in the classic horror movie Texas Massacre, affects the experience of the players badly due to some people. Leatherface, which is included in the game with a series of cosmetic products, will bid farewell to the game with racism allegations. Aware of the harassment incidents carried out by some players over skin color, the producer studio announced that the character will be removed from the game along with its cosmetic products.
Making a statement on the subject on a blog page, the company stated that they were sorry. In addition, the producers, who stated that they were against such situations, continued their words as follows:
Members of the community shared their experiences with people targeting and harassing them while using some of these masks. It was discouraging to hear this news and we strongly condemn this behavior. It bothers us that these masks are in play when used as a tool to spread hatred.
On the other hand, while reminding that the complaints to the company are not new, some segments stated that they continue to be harassed due to slowness. At the end of the day, the community is still glad that racism by wearing the skins of black characters has been prevented.
Behavior Interactive, which will remove Leatherface from the game with its cosmetics, will also compensate for the losses of those who spent money for the character.
