Qualcomm presented its new plans to the technology world as part of CES 2022. The event, which is followed closely by the electronics market, looks like a good past for the company. The company, which has made some cooperation statements, wants to get ahead of its competitors.

Having signed a large-scale agreement with the Japanese electronics giant, Qualcomm wants to make itself known in the automotive industry. Details of the company’s collaboration have emerged.

Qualcomm cooperates with Alpine Alpine

The development mentioned during the event became clear on the company’s official blog page. Established in 1948, Alp Alpine has a very important place in the electronics market. The company, which offers more than 40 thousand solutions to nearly 2,000 companies worldwide, has been producing in line with the new trend since 2019. Alpine Alpine, which will work in partnership with Qualcomm as of now, will also be involved in the automotive industry.

Two technology giants, which will carry out productions suitable for the in-car cabin system, will present the Digital Cabin solution to the technology world. According to the information revealed, Digital Cabin will use Alps Alpine’s High Performance Reference Architecture (HPRA), the original electronic control unit (ECU) powered by 3rd generation Snapdragon cockpit platforms. Accordingly, HPRA will process the software support of the Digital Cabin system with the human-machine interface HMI technology.

Qualcomm-made 3rd generation Snapragon cockpit platforms are also quite assertive about in-vehicle computing. The company has also developed artificial intelligence to support this issue. The company’s Digital Cabin support includes blind spot assist, next-generation input and output systems, a large ceiling screen, reflected sound zones, and an e-mirror that provides a peripheral view.

Alpine and Qualcomm fronts, who seem very excited about the agreement, hope that the cooperation will continue in the future. Officials of the two companies also believe that a long-term partnership will pave the way. It is already a matter of curiosity what the giants, which will play big in the automotive sector, will offer to their users. Let’s see what awaits the technology world at the end of the day.
