Intel showed up with 50 new processors
At CES 2022, Intel today announced the world’s fastest mobile processor, bringing its performance hybrid architecture to mobile platforms for the first time, with new 12th Gen Intel Core mobile processors that are up to 40 percent faster than the previous generation mobile processor.
The company says it is working to develop laptops that will enable people to perform computing operations whenever and wherever they need them, without sacrificing anything. For this reason, 28 new 12th Generation Intel Core mobile processors appeared.
Of course, with the launch of 22 new 12th Gen Intel Core desktop processors alongside these models, the Alder Lake family has also become the company’s most scalable series to date. Their design in consumer, enterprise, internet of things (IoT) and other applications has also been strengthened.

12th Gen Intel Core mobile processors launch
Intel is looking to secure its leadership seat by launching its 12th Gen Intel Core H-series mobile processors, led by the Intel Core i9-12900HK, which it says is both the world’s best mobile gaming platform and the fastest mobile processor ever.
The new Intel Core i9-12900 HK improves system performance in single and multi-threaded applications by combining performance cores (P cores) and productivity cores (E cores) with intelligent workload prioritization and management distribution via Intel Thread Director.
The new 12th Gen H-series processors based on Intel 7 offer:
⦁ Up to 5 GHz frequency, 14 cores (6 P-cores and 8 E-cores) and 20 threads, giving the 12th Gen Intel Core i9-12900HK the title of fastest mobile processor. It provides performance leadership over Intel’s previous generation and competitors.

The expanded 12th Gen Intel Core mobile family also includes the new U and P series mobile processors. Designed for performance-oriented thin and light notebooks, the new P-series processors with up to 14 cores, 20 threads and Intel® Iris® Xe integrated graphics run at 28W base power.

New Members of the 12th Gen Intel Core Desktop Processor Family and New Platform Options
22 new processors have joined the 12th Gen Intel Core desktop processor family today. The new members of the family range from Intel Core i9 to Pentium and Celeron. These processors (65 watts and 35 watts) offer scalable power and amazing performance for gaming, creativity and productivity. Intel also introduced new Intel® Laminar Coolers accompanying the new 65-watt processors.
Intel also introduced the new Intel® H670, H610 and B660 chipsets that will support a wide array of consumer processors. New chipset options; PCIe 4.0 lanes offer many of the great Z-series capabilities—as well as support for memory overclocking—such as integrated Intel® Wi-Fi 6E (Gig+) and Intel® Volume Management Device (VMD).
New Experiences for a Mobile World with Intel Evo
The release of 12th Gen Intel Core mobile processors also brings updates to the Intel Evo platform for laptops and other on-the-go form factors. These updates are confirmed by the third edition features and key experience indicators of Intel’s Project Athena innovation program. More than 100 designs designed with new foldable displays and 12th Gen Intel Core mobile processors, including the H series in addition to the U and P series for the first time, are expected to begin to pass Intel Evo verification, most of which will be available for purchase in the first half of 2022.
