Chinese technology company TCL has officially entered the laptop market with the TCL Book 14 Go. The device, which comes out of the box with the Windows 11 operating system, has an ARM-based structure. The laptop, which is mainly aimed at educational use, comes with a 14.1-inch HD resolution screen that offers 60 Hz refresh rate. So what does TCL’s computer offer to users?

TCL Book 14 Go features

The TCL Book 14 Go comes in a silver-plated color option, which the company calls Skywriting. Powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7c processor, the laptop meets the graphics need with Adreno 618 GPU. Additionally, it offers consumers 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

Offering a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, TCL Book 14 Go comes with a 14.1-inch 60Hz display with a 16:9 aspect ratio. The laptop, which is assertive about portability with a weight of about 1.5 kilograms, gains 4G LTE connection thanks to Snapdragon 7c. It’s also worth noting that it has support for 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.1.


TCL Book 14 Go

The TCL 14 Book Go is thin but has a large number of I/O ports. The laptop has two USB 2.0 Type-C sockets, one USB 3.0 Type-A, a memory card slot and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The device, which has a 40Wh battery, meets its charging need with an adapter that supports up to 24W.

Affordable tablet: TCL NXTPAPER 10s

In addition to the laptop, TCL also introduced new tablets at the CES 2022 event. Let’s start with the TCL NXTPAPER 10s model first. This product, which has a 10.1 inch Full HD display, is powered by MediaTek’s Helio P22 processor. It also comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.

The affordable tablet, which comes out of the box with the Android 11 operating system, has an 8 Megapixel rear camera + 5 Megapixel selfie camera. In addition, the model with an 8,000 mAh battery that supports charging up to 18W also supports a stylus and has a separate version with LTE.

The entry-level TCL Tab 8 4G tablet, powered by a 4-core MediaTek MT8766B processor, offers 3GB/2GB RAM and 32GB storage options. Since it is an entry-level device, the device, which does not claim a modern appearance in terms of screen-to-body ratio, has very thick bezels.

On the storage side, the tablet, which offers 2 GB RAM + 32 GB internal memory, has a 2 Megapixel camera on both the back and front. The company also gives users the opportunity to expand the storage up to 128GB with a memory card.
