READING NOW New details have emerged about Bully 2’s unfortunate fate!

The sequel of Bully, one of the most popular productions of Rockstar Games and first released for PS2 in 2006, is not coming. Finally, while the rumors about Bully 2, the sequel of the production, which was introduced to its fans with its remastered version, Scholarship Edition in 2007, were endless, new information came about why the production did not appear in front of the players.

The producers of Bully 2 were constantly running other projects.

It was about the experiences of a student named Jimmy Hopkins, who was enrolled in a boarding school called Bullworth Academy of Rockstar Games. The production, which handles many enjoyable activities such as bullying, girl fights, and the haste to pass classes that can happen to anyone in an ordinary high school, managed to become one of the most popular games of that period. However, over the past 15 years, Rockstar Games has almost forgotten about Bully while releasing sequels one after another.

Finally, new information came about the production, which was announced at the The Game Awards event, which was held in the past days, but was later abandoned somehow. Accordingly, Bully 2 has come to the production stage many times in the past. However, a number of obstacles caused the game to never get past the early development stage.

According to the information conveyed by Blake Hester from Game Informer, the biggest problem Rockstar New England had during the game development process was that many employees within the studio were constantly assigned to other projects. After Rockstar New England released the remastered version of the game, they started working on the second game. However, many producers involved in the production of the game were shifted to L. A. Noire and Grand Theft Auto 4 projects at that time.

When the main center of Rockstar assigned the producers for Max Payne 3 and Red Dead Redemption in the later period, the team almost disintegrated. According to Blake’s report, before the project was suspended, it was even made to have a gameplay time of about 6-8 hours.

Although Rockstar Games is doing a great job with GTA Online, GTA Trilogy – The Definitive Edition was a huge disappointment. In this sense, the fact that the company failed in this trilogy can be good news for Bully 2. As a matter of fact, it may be possible for the company to bring back this long-established series to make the fans happy.
