Samsung is expected to introduce the Galaxy S22 series in February 2022, and the Galaxy S22 Ultra in particular is shaping up to be a rather unusual premium Galaxy S device. Evidence shows that the Galaxy S22 Ultra has an integrated S Pen slot for those who miss the Galaxy Note.
Moreover, new information continues to arrive every day. According to SamMobile’s new exclusive report, it has been revealed that the Galaxy S22 Ultra may have a massive 1TB internal storage.
Samsung last launched a high-end phone with 1TB of internal storage in early 2019. A Galaxy S10+ configuration was offered with 12GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage, but expandable memory was still a common feature on high-end phones back then. On the other hand, the Galaxy S22 Ultra is not expected to have expandable storage.
Samsung’s next high-end phone, labeled Ultra, is expected to be able to record 8K video with its primary camera system and 4K videos with its selfie camera. Avid mobile photographers who don’t want to rely too heavily on cloud storage will likely turn to the 1TB model for convenience.
It is not yet known how much the 1TB Galaxy S22 Ultra will hit the shelves, and it is expected to be sold only in certain markets and possibly only on Samsung’s official website.
