Mobile application developer Alessandro Paluzzi shared a screenshot of two new features that Instagram is working on. While the first of these makes it easier for users to create Boomerang; the other takes the cross-link between Instagram and Facebook one step further.
Facebook target audience can be changed with Instagram
If you have linked your accounts, you can simultaneously transfer a post you shared on Instagram to Facebook. However, it is not possible to choose who can see your posts on Facebook directly on Instagram. According to Alessandro Paluzzi’s statement, the social media company will soon make up for this lack of users.

You will be able to select “Target audience” when sharing a post you uploaded to Instagram on Facebook. There will be three different options, ‘Public’, ‘Your friends’ and ‘Only me’. After determining the target audience, only the people you choose will be able to see the Instagram posts you share on Facebook.
Video can be converted to Boomerang
Another feature revealed by Alessandro Paluzzi allows the video to be converted to Boomerang. With Boomerang, users can share short 1-second videos in the story section of Instagram. However, this process needs to be done with the Instagram camera.

In the new period, you will be able to share any part of an existing video in your gallery on your story as Boomerang. Of course, this feature will be optional. Instead of using video from your gallery, you’ll be able to create Boomerangs with Instagram’s camera as usual.
