Win+C shortcuts back to Windows?

Apparently, Microsoft plans to bring the Win+C keyboard shortcut, which is used with different tasks in Windows’s past. This shortcut, which has no function in current Windows 11 versions, has had various roles throughout history. However, new developments indicate the return of Win+C.

Win+C shortcut first entered our lives with Windows 8, where it was used to open the Charms Bar. Later, with the transition to Windows 10, Microsoft re -functioned to call this shortcut Cortana digital assistant. However, with the termination of Cortana in 2023, Win+C became unusable once again.

Win+C was used for a short time to call the edge bar in Windows 11 to call the edge bar. However, in 2024, Microsoft transformed Copilot into a more application -oriented experience, removed this function.

Win+c is returning

According to the latest reports, Microsoft restructured a full -fledged copilot application in Windows 11, which brought the return of Win+C. In one of Windows’s latest reviews, the new command line group discovered by @Phantomofearth indicates that this shortcut will be re -commissioned.

If the Win+C shortcut is brought back, it is unclear whether it will replace the existing shortcuts or remain as an additional alternative. However, it seems to be a logical step for Microsoft to customize this shortcut, which is used in other applications for its own artificial intelligence assistant.

In addition, Microsoft, which provides the opportunity to customize the functions of special copilot keys on some keyboards, may also be planning to expand this customization ability for all users with Win+C. Such a development will offer users a more flexible experience.
