The US National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) has been developing a telescope for a long time to better examine our galaxy and the depths of the universe. This telescope, named the James Webb Space Telescope, which will replace the veteran Hubble Space Telescope, was a joint project of the European Space Agency, the Canadian Space Agency and 15 different states under the direction of NASA.
The James Webb Space Telescope, which was started to be developed in 1996, was first planned to be launched in 2007. But the completion date of James Webb, which has undergone major changes many times, extended until 2016. What does the James Webb Space Telescope aim for?
The James Webb Space Telescope, like its predecessor Hubble, will be responsible for examining the depths of space. But unlike Hubble, the telescope will be located much farther from the Sun.
