A woman in the USA broke the water while she was driving with her husband in traffic. Thereupon, while Tesla cars took the couple to the hospital on autopilot, the birth took place in the front seat of the vehicle. It was said that the umbilical cord of the baby who was born was cut in the vehicle.
Tesla baby is born!
Philadelphia Yiran Sherry, 33, and her husband, Keating Sherry, 34, were taking their three-year-old son, Rafa, to kindergarten. While moving through the congested traffic, the couple, who realized that Yiran would not be able to reach the hospital in time after the water came, rolled up his sleeves.
Keating Sherry put the car on autopilot after adjusting the navigation system to the hospital in the western suburb of Paoli, 20 minutes away. Then he started to take care of his wife, Yiran. Of course, the birth took place in the front seat of the vehicle until Tesla went to the hospital.
Describing the event, lucky father Keatin Sherry said:
He was squeezing my hand to the point where I thought it would shatter. I was saying, Yiran, okay, focus on your breathing. This was also a recommendation to myself. My body was pumping adrenaline like crazy.
Yiran Sherry said the decision of whether to wait or not to give birth until I got to the hospital was painful. However, he said he kept looking at his estimated arrival time and barely saw it move. That’s why they decided to move on.
In addition, Yiran said that he only remembers a few things from that moment and he kept repeating the following words:
Should I push or should I hold back? Should I push or hold? Damn it. Let’s do it Keating
The couple says that the baby did not stay in place until they reached the hospital and was born minutes before. In fact, when Yirang suddenly saw the baby come out, she said to her husband, “Oh my God, Keating. He says he shouted “He’s outside” over and over. When they arrived at the hospital, the nurses cut the baby’s umbilical cord in the front seat of the car. For this reason, they began to call him Tesla Baby.
Of course, the couple says they waited desperately for the positive news until the doctor said to them, “Congratulations, your baby has been born healthy.” They also say that they briefly considered naming their daughter Tess to commemorate the automaker, but returned to their agreed-upon Maeve Lily.
After the event, Keating Sherry answered questions from the press by saying, “We thank Tesla engineers even for the perfect autopilot design.” Of course, no statement has yet been made by Elon Musk or Tesla on the subject.
