Steam’s Category and Tag pages get rid of their annoying mood
The new Category and Tag pages have richer and more personalized information about games. On the Category page you entered, a micro trailer has been applied for each game you see above. This means that it is easier for the user to learn about the game without going to the store page. Right above the game image on the category page, we can see which category we are in. While you can see the price under the game image, the title, description, release date, review status and tags are on the right side.
This experimental update is much more functional than the previous system. If you had to go to the game page and look at a handful of game images before, you had to watch the video. With Experiment 13, you have to enter the game page to look at certain things. These are language options, system requirements, descriptions of the game and user reviews.
Action category
You can easily browse the category page and see the games under the same category. Even in this form, the update provides great convenience to users. Just below the category page is the “Recent and Upcoming Events” section. In this section, you can see the games that will be released and new content. In addition, you can easily filter many games on the category page.
It’s worth noting, not every Steam Labs Experiment is a permanent feature. Also, Experiment 13 isn’t a huge change, it just adds functionality. Just click this link to see the changes.
