READING NOW YouTube is testing a new channel interface!

YouTube has a content to offer to every person with videos with various concepts. The platform, which has developed itself over the years and taken its current form, has not undergone any major changes for a long time. In its final form, it met adequate functions.

Small improvements were made, such as testing the color dynamics, removing the gray status bar. Now, after a long hiatus, the video platform is testing a new channel interface for the mobile app. Here are the details of the new channel interface that YouTube is testing…

YouTube’s new channel interface features

The new interface, noticed by a viewer who donates to a broadcaster they follow, brings the profile photo of the channel owner to the front and center. In addition, the photo is located just below the name. This new design taken by YouTube does not break the current subscriber count and the red button for subscribing or the gray button for subscribing.

Besides the new interface, a few details are in the testing phase. The number of videos that are not visible in the current version of the application appear visible in the test version. There is also a short description of the channel, and when you click on it, you can get more information about the channel by accessing an “About” section where you can read the full text.

While the “Join” button, which is a paid subscription service, is next to the subscribe button in the current version, it is centered below the channel description in the test version. This is a design that will make the feature more prominent. The new channel interface test version has only been seen in the Android app for now.

This new test version is available on the latest (16.49.37) version of YouTube. It is not yet clear whether these features will come or when they will be available. It would be helpful to keep the app up-to-date to increase your chances of participating in the test version.

What do you think about the new channel interface that YouTube is testing? Are you satisfied with the current version or would you prefer to use this version? Do not forget to share your ideas with us in the comments.
