In 2016, the company started to propose the LG Ultrafine series for professional works by pulling this product from sales. With this move, it is thought that Apple was completely withdrawn from the screen market, but the company introduced Prodisplay XDR in 2019 for professional users. New generation Studio Display can be available in 2026

Mark Gurman, known for its resources close to Apple, spoke about the company’s screen technologies in Bloomberg’s Power ten bulletin. According to Gurman, Apple is working on the new generation Studio Display, code -named “J427”, which is expected to be introduced in 2026 with M5 chip mac devices. Gurman also said that the new Studio Display would greatly look like the current model in terms of design and that the screen size will not change.

While Gurman did not share more details about the new Studio Display’s technical features, the famous analyst Ross Young claimed that he had developed a new 27-inch monitor with Apple’s mini-Led technology. According to Young, this monitor can be launched in late 2025 or in the beginning of 2026. If this information is true, Apple’s new Studio Display model can come with a mini-Led panel. In addition, Gurman said that the new generation Pro Display XDR has no priority for Apple.
