The production, which was expected to be one of the most successful productions of the game world due to its concept and offerings, suddenly began to be called a fiasco. As such, the developer of the game, CD Projekt RED, started to struggle with growing problems such as snowballs. Of course, the most striking of these problems was the lawsuits filed by their own investors.

Although it reached a record number of 8 million during the pre-order process, it was never able to reach the targeted sales figures due to disastrous errors, bugs and performance problems.
The shareholders then sued CD Projekt RED for allegedly misdirecting them regarding financial performance issues. The 54 percent drop in shares after the release of the game, returns and failure to meet sales targets were among the reasons for the lawsuit. It should be noted that four different lawsuits were later brought together under one roof.
For this reason, CD Projekt RED, which has been looking for a way to reconcile with investors for a long time, has achieved its goal according to the information received recently. At this point, the company will pay a total of 1 million 800 thousand dollars in damages to the plaintiffs. Of course, determining the value of the damage caused by a game made with a budget of more than 300 million dollars on the shareholders of the company was also on the agenda in the gaming world.
The company, which has made the production somewhat playable with the updates it has released, is currently working on important details such as the next generation update, comprehensive bug fix and content package. In fact, it was announced that the new updates, which were determined as the end of 2021 in the first place, were postponed to the first quarter of 2022.
