A new Vivo smartphone with model number Vivo V2429A has received approval from China’s TENAA certification platform. It is thought that this model may be the Vivo S20, which is expected to be introduced soon. The same device was also listed on the 3C certification platform and hinted at its fast charging features. According to the 3C listing, it is estimated that Vivo V2429A will come with an adapter that supports 90W fast charging. The previous model, Vivo S19, offered 80W fast charging support, so the S20 is expected to come with a charging upgrade. Although the name under which it will be launched is not certain, it is thought that the device will be introduced as Vivo S20.

According to the information in the TENAA certificate, Vivo S20 is expected to come with a 6.67-inch, 1.5K resolution AMOLED screen. It is estimated that the device will be equipped with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset and may offer up to 16 GB RAM options. Additionally, it is expected to be available in China with up to 1TB storage option.

It is predicted that Vivo S20 will be equipped with a 6,500 mAh battery and 90W fast charging support. While there is a 50 MP selfie camera on the front, it is stated that there will be a 50 MP + 8 MP dual camera system on the back.

Vivo S20, which is expected to come with OriginOS 5 based on Android 15, will also be equipped with additional features such as IR blaster and screen-integrated fingerprint reader. The thickness of the device will be 7.19 mm and its weight will be approximately 186 grams. Although there is no definitive information about the release date of the new model yet, we should point out that we can see this device on the shelves before the end of the year.
