Intel’s new generation Arrow Lake processors continue to diversify within the laptop series. Finally, Intel Core Ultra 9 285H has been verified on benchmark platforms. Intel Core Ultra 9 285H tested before release

For those who missed it, Intel H series processors target mid-range and low-power devices today. It should be noted that today, Intel 200 processors will be divided into Ultra and non-Ultra versions. According to the leak, Intel Core Ultra 9 285H will offer a total of 16 cores, including 6 performance cores (Lion Cove) and 10 efficiency cores (Skymont). The maximum clock speed of the processor, which has 24 MB L3 and 2MB L2 cache, will be offered with 5.4GHz and 45W TDP.

According to the shared listing, it has been confirmed that Intel Core Ultra 9 285H will be included in the Dell Pro Max 16 series. Judging by its name, this will be a workstation-oriented system. As for the results, Intel Core Ultra 9 285H scores 2,665 points in Geekbench’s single-core test and 15,330 points in the multi-core test. This is 18.9% higher in single-core and 28% higher in multi-core compared to its successor, the 185H.

 

When we turn the arrows to AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370, the Intel Core Ultra 9 285H lags behind in single-core performance but offers faster multi-threaded performance. As we mentioned at the beginning of our article, Core Ultra 9 285H is expected to be introduced at CES 2025 along with the Arrow Lake-H and HX family.
