Chinese automobile manufacturers, which have gained great momentum especially thanks to the electric automobile industry, are expanding their market share day by day. Changan is one of the Chinese companies that is reaching more sales day by day. The company, which owns automobile brands such as Avatr and Mazda, reached a very high sales volume in October. Changan increased by 4.1 percent in October
The company, which started deliveries of Avatr 12 and Avatr 07 Ultra models today, sold 30 thousand 831 vehicles in October alone. Changan, which showed an annual increase of 48.6 percent along with this rate of 33.9 percent increase compared to last year, sold 85 thousand 272 vehicles from NEV models, which are known as new energy vehicles.
Changan, China’s oldest automotive manufacturer, has switched to new energy vehicles for sustainability. It started to appeal to all segments of society by launching brands such as Deepal, Avatr and Changan Nevo. Mid-segment brand Deepal sold a total of 28 thousand 730 vehicles, of which only 10 thousand were completed with the Deepal S05 SUV, which reached 10 thousand sales in 10 days.
Avatr, which is in the premium vehicle class, sold 10 thousand 56 vehicles in October. In October, Changan broke its own record with a total of 108 thousand 209 units. While Changan Ford reached 19 thousand 789 units, Changan Mazda sold 7 thousand 521 units.
Changan, together with all its sub-brands, achieved a huge sales rate of 250 thousand 832 units in total, achieving an annual growth of 4.1 percent.
