US-based technology giant Apple officially started the artificial intelligence era for iPhones with iOS 18.1. Users in certain regions can still experience some of the features available within Apple Intelligence.
According to Apple’s statement, Apple Intelligence features will be gradually offered to users in future iOS versions. So we will have to wait for iOS 18.2 for new features. Here are the latest statements, revealing that Apple has advanced the iOS 18.2 calendar for faster adoption of artificial intelligence.
iOS 18.2 may be released in the first week of next month
According to the statement made by Mark Gurman from Bloomberg, Apple will release iOS 18.2 in the first week of December. With the release of this version, users will be able to start using features such as Genmoji, where they can create custom emojis, Image Playground, an artificial intelligence-supported image creation tool, and Image Wand, which allows a drawing made in the Notes application to be converted into a picture.
However, iOS 18.2 will host an innovation far beyond the features we have just mentioned. Apple’s voice assistant Siri will gain ChatGPT integration with iOS 18.2. This will make us forget everything we know about Siri.
