READING NOW The first date for the Nvidia computer processor has been revealed!

Nvidia has started counting the days to step into the world of computer processors. Accordingly, the release date for the Nvidia ARM computer processor, which was on the agenda last spring, has also been revealed. However, let us remind you that this information is a leak and has not been confirmed by Nvidia yet.

When will Nvidia computer processor be released?

Computer processors have been powered by x86 processors for over fifty years. In particular, Intel was the sole ruler of this market for a long time. However, with the artificial intelligence revolution, both Intel and AMD are a little behind this revolution. Again, the problems experienced with Intel’s latest processors seem to have spurred Nvidia into action. Again, the company is looking to spend the experience and capital gained in artificial intelligence processors to this new target.

Judging by the emerging details, Nvidia is seeking to enter the computer processor market with ARM-based processors. As you know, Nvidia already has experience developing ARM processors. The company, which once developed Tegra processors for mobile phones, still continues to develop ARM-based mobile processors.

According to rumors, the company’s first ARM-based computer processor will appear in September 2025. Although the features of this processor are not clear, it was previously leaked that it will be supported by artificial intelligence. The processor is expected to go through the 3 nm abrication process. Nvidia is expected to apply to TSMC for processor production.

Finally, Qualcomm stepped into the ARM-based computer processor market with the Snapdaragon X Elite processor. Even though AMD uses x86 architecture, it is the sole ruler of the emerging handheld console market.

Key differences between ARM and x86 processors

The computer processors that dominate the market today use x86 architecture. This architecture is CISC based. Nvidia, on the other hand, will introduce its new computer processors with an ARM, or RISC-based system. However, Apple revived the ARM-based computer revolution that ARM started at the time. Nvidia is looking to take this revolution one level higher.

Basically, CISC is based on a more complex command system. This longer and more complex command system can be advantageous, especially in highly loaded transactions. RISC, on the other hand, basically has a much simpler command system. In this sense, RISC is shorter and simpler, while CISC is a longer and more complex command system.

The M processors used in mobile phones today and in Mac computers in recent years are ARM-based processors. These processors can especially accommodate more than one processing module on their own. This allows transactions to be carried out much faster.
