Apple announced a new service program to solve the camera problem detected in some productions of the iPhone 14 Plus. The problem experienced in the camera will be corrected within the scope of the repair program, which will be carried out free of charge.
iPhone 14 Plus camera problem will be fixed for free
Apple has launched a new service program to fix the rear camera problem detected on some iPhone 14 Plus models. It was stated that there was a problem such as the preview image not appearing on the rear camera of the iPhone 14 Plus models produced between April 10, 2023 and April 28, 2024.
Apple announced that the problem is hardware-related and will be solved by providing free repair service. iPhone 14 Plus users will be able to verify whether their devices are within the scope of this program by entering the serial number of their devices on the Apple support page.
Accordingly, camera problems on devices deemed suitable for the repair program will be repaired free of charge by Apple or authorized service providers. Users who previously had paid repairs due to the problem will also be able to request a refund.
The service program covers all iPhone 14 Plus devices for three years from the date of first sale. This reflects the service initiatives that Apple has recently launched to fix the problems it has detected in iPhone and AirPods models. The company provides free support to all users affected by the issue.
This problem actually caused big problems for iPhone 14 Plus users. The lack of a camera preview made taking photos and videos difficult.
