This year’s event of The Game Awards, where the best games of the year are selected in different branches and we have the chance to see new games, took place yesterday. Last night, we shared with you which games were selected as the best in which category. In addition, we received some news about new games and saw content at the event. One of these games was the new Hellblade game.
The first game in the series, ‘Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice’, debuted in 2017 and received great acclaim with its interesting story. Then we heard about the arrival of the new Hellblade game at The Game Awards 2019. At this year’s event, images from the game were finally shared.
First gameplay footage from Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2:
The first gameplay footage of the game was shared yesterday at The Game Awards. There is no detailed information about the story yet. We know that the main character Senua from the previous game is suffering from psychosis. In the video in question, a battle is fought with a giant with only an upper body, and at the end of the video, Senua realizes that she knows this giant she is fighting.
Hellblade 2, which also includes immersive cinematic scenes and dynamic gameplay, will not come to PS4 like the previous game. The same is true for PS5, as the game will be exclusive to Xbox Series X/S and PC. There is no official statement about the release date, but Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 is expected to meet players before 2022.
