Google is rearranging the Discover flow, located on the left side of Android home screens and in the Google application, in accordance with the Material 3 design.

This update, which aims to improve the user experience, is still in the testing phase.

Will user interest increase?

In the renewed design, each article is now presented on cards whose edges are not completely filled. While the images on the cards have a longer format, the “Save” and “Share” options have been brought together in a single menu for easier access by users. A new card type has been added to indicate topics, aiming to enable users to reach their areas of interest more quickly.

It is stated that the double menu design presents a complex image. Regular article cards continue to be used, so users can still access the old design. As a result, it is stated that although this update seems compatible with Material 3, the design has become extremely busy and messy. New updates are still being tested in beta version.
