Samsung, one of the successful players in the smartphone market, has started the countdown for the Galaxy S25 series. While the South Korean manufacturer is preparing to showcase its new flagships in early 2025, the latest information is that we will see a surprise model in the series.
Samsung Galaxy S Slim is coming: So when will it be introduced?
It is said that Apple is working on a model called Slim or Air that will attract attention with its thinness in next year’s iPhone 17 series. In this context, it is stated that Samsung has taken action to add an addition to the Galaxy S25 series that will directly compete with the iPhone 17 Slim, in order not to fall behind in the competition.
Although there are not many details about the phone at the moment, sources underline that the device will be called Galaxy S Slim. It is stated that the release of the smartphone, which is expected to be built on the design principles of the Galaxy S25 series, will be in the second quarter of next year.
We can say that the reason behind the Galaxy S Slim being introduced after the Galaxy S25 series is that the smartphone does not affect the sales of other models in the series. In other words, the South Korean manufacturer will be able to monitor the sales of the model more accurately and make a decision whether to continue or not in the coming years.
Apart from this, according to a report by Korea-based E-Today, Samsung is considering stopping using the iconic Galaxy brand on its flagship models. Working on a new brand strategy, the South Korean manufacturer aims to use a new brand name in the upper segment models it will launch in the future, if the plans go well. It is currently unknown when this will happen.
