Opera added an explosive feature to the internet browser called “Opera GX” developed for gamers. This new feature, called “panic button”, will allow you to close open tabs and stop sounds with a single touch.
Sometimes, while using a computer at work or at home, we may be distracted from the work we are currently doing. Sometimes, we may even be caught looking at something unwelcome at someone in our family. The new feature developed for Opera GX was developed against such situations.
Press “F12” and close everything
The panic button feature prepared for Opera GX will be activated as soon as F12 is pressed. The user who presses this button in an emergency situation will be presented with a clean browser screen. All background sounds will be muted and open tabs will be hidden. Meanwhile; Users will also be able to create their own lists for some websites. By pressing F12 again after the situation calms down, the user will deactivate the panic button. In other words, hidden pages will be reopened.
The panic button hides some websites, such as Twitch, Wikipedia and YouTube, by default. However, the Opera team provided flexibility to the user for this. If you remove YouTube from the default list, when you press F12 and activate panic mode, you will see that YouTube is not closed. The panic button seems to offer an impressive experience to Opera GX users.
