NotebookLM, Google’s artificial intelligence note-taking application, has been opened to all users aged 18 and over in the United States. In addition to adding a few new features, Google has made it available with its new artificial intelligence model, Gemini Pro AI, which allows it to recognize and process the document.
What Google NotebookLM offers
NotebookLM can already do things like summarize imported documents, find key points, and even answer questions about your note-taking sources. With the new update, Google also offers a way to convert your notes into other document types. Once you’ve selected all the notes you want to add, NotebookLM automatically suggests formats such as outline or study guide. Google notes that you can also ask NotebookLM to convert your notes into a format of your choice, such as email, script, press release, and more.
NotebookLM now suggests various actions based on what you do in the app. For example; When you write a note, NotebookLM automatically provides tools to make your words more effective and suggests ideas based on what you write. Other useful features from NotebookLM have also arrived, such as saving helpful answers as notes, sharing notes with others, and focusing NotebookLM’s AI on selected resources while chatting.
NotebookLM allows you to add up to 20 resources to your notebook, each containing up to 200,000 words.
Google first introduced the NotebookLM app at its I/O conference in May and then offered it to a small group of users to test. It is now available to all users in the US aged 18 and over.
