Google Gemini has been delayed
Google Gemini is described as a new generation of artificial intelligence and multimodal. So Gemini can process more than one type of data. It is also said to have the capacity to understand and produce text and images, as well as other types of content such as websites, based on an outline or written description. However, recent reports indicate that the AI has been quietly postponed to early 2024 over concerns that it is unreliable when responding to some non-English prompts and questions. Under normal circumstances, Gemini was planned to be released next week.
Although it has not yet been released for public use, Gemini is said to perform much better than OpenAI’s GPT-4 as it leverages much more computing power than its rival. Sissie Hsiao, Google’s Vice President and manager responsible for Bard and Google Assistant, said that Gemini can instantly produce images for prompts and make a narrative based on those images.
While Google already has its own generative AI model called Bard, ChatGPT has stronger consumer awareness so far, but analysts argue this could change when Gemini is finally released.
