The Android version of Firefox already supports extensions, but Mozilla recently made it easier to port desktop extensions to the mobile platform. “We’ve been blown away by the enthusiasm and preparation of the developers. Just a few weeks ago it looked like we had a few hundred Android extensions launching, but now we have over 400 Android extensions launching on December 14th,” said Firefox Director of Engineering Giorgio Natili.
