There will be no 16 GB RAM in the Galaxy S24 series
Interestingly, Samsung is not generous with the amount of RAM in its high-end phones. Although the company included 16 GB RAM in the Galaxy S20 Ultra model, unfortunately all of its successors were limited to 12GB RAM for some reason, and it is said that the situation will not change for the upcoming Galaxy S24 family, which is planned to be released early next year.
While Samsung’s competitors produce flagships with 24 GB RAM, it is reported that the South Korean giant will continue to include 8 GB RAM in the basic Galaxy S24 model. Galaxy S24 Plus will have 12 GB RAM, unlike the 8 GB RAM in the previous model. No change is expected on the Galaxy S24 Ultra side, which is the top-level version, and it is said that the device will have 12 GB of RAM.
Of course, some users may find 16 GB or 24 GB RAM unnecessary, but considering past claims about the Galaxy S24, the low amount of RAM may be a problem for the company. Because it has been rumored for a while that these devices will come with various artificial intelligence features for the device. Large Language Models and artificial intelligence features can demand high amounts of memory.
