NASA’s James Webb Space Telescope has achieved significant success with the images it has captured so far. Today, the space telescope appeared with a new image. The James Webb Space Telescope has revealed the image of a newborn star.

The star was captured with the Near Infrared Camera (NIRCam)!

Any kind of information about the universe attracts a lot of attention. It excites people of all ages, especially when it comes to a view from the universe. The James Webb Telescope, which is very successful in this regard, manages to attract attention with the images it captures.

This time, NASA’s James Webb Telescope reveals the image of a newborn star. Using the telescope, astronomers observed the bright cloud of material dust and gas surrounding the newborn star. When we look at the image, what appears to be a single exit actually consists of two exits. The fact that there are two exits indicates that there are two stars.

The object in these images taken with the telescope’s Near Infrared Camera (NIRCam) tool was named HH 797. This star, which is almost 1000 light-years away, is actually located in the cocoon as an object called “Herbig-Haro” objects.

Herbig-Haro objects are known as bright and long needle-like objects that appear during star formation and are mostly around young stars. It occurs during intense flows and outflows from gas and dust clouds around these objects.

As seen in the image, NIRCam is ideal for examining young stars. Because these cosmic objects are often covered with the dust and gas clouds that initially formed them. For this reason, the light emitted from objects is very low. As a result, it is unlikely that they will be seen with traditional observatory instruments.
