Xiaomi announced many of its products at its event today. Undoubtedly, the most important products of the event were the Redmi K70 and Redmi K70 Pro smartphones. The phones, which are the top-level products of the K series, have similar features except for minor differences.The Redmi K70 series differs from its predecessor, the K60, in terms of design, with its angular metal frames and rectangular camera island.
OLED display with 4000 nits brightness
Both phones have a 6.67-inch, 2K resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate OLED screen produced by TCL. Screens that can reach an incredibly high brightness of 4000 nits attach importance to eye comfort with their 3840 Hz PWM high-frequency dimming feature. The screen, which has HDR10 + and Dolby Vision features, also includes an under-screen fingerprint reader.
On the camera side, the phones have a triple rear camera setup and a 50 MP 1/1.55 inch main camera with OIS support. While the K70 has an 8 MP ultra-wide angle camera and a 2 MP macro camera, the K70 Pro has a 50 MP telephoto camera with 2x zoom and a 12 MP ultra-wide lens.Under the hood, the Redmi K70 Pro is powered by Qualcomm’s new flagship processor Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, while the Redmi K70 is accompanied by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. Redmi K70 Pro is offered with options up to 24GB LPDDR5 RAM and 1TB UFS 4.0 storage configuration.
120 Watt high charging speed
Both phones have a 5000 mAh battery and 120 Watt fast charging support. According to Xiaomi’s statement, phones can be fully charged in 12 minutes. Other features of the phones are Wifi-7, NFC, infrared receiver, Bluetooth 5.4, X-axis linear motor, 5000 mm2 heat spreader block.
The phones, which come out of the box with the Android 14-based Hyper OS operating system, have black, ice blue, bamboo moon blue and light purple color options.
