Japan-based HW Electro (HWE) introduced an interesting car in the past weeks. The microvan named Puzzle is inspired by Japanese “kei” cars. The most striking point of the car, which has a much more innovative design, is that it gets its electricity from solar panels.

According to the statement made by HWE, Puzzle will be available for purchase in the US market in 2025. The solar panel car, introduced at the Japan Mobility Show last month, differs from classic electric vehicles with both its design and engine.

Puzzle, which is 3.5 meters long and 2 meters high, has been developed to do more than basic transportation. HWE CEO Xiao Weicheng; He said that it can be used in times of disaster with a solar panel, emergency power outlet, a first aid kit and even a crowbar mounted on the outside.

Integration with solar power can provide long-term electric range without plugging in, Weicheng explained. Although its exact features are not yet clear, it is stated that HWE Puzzle has a lithium iron phosphate battery. This means it has a range of approximately 200 km.

Other family-friendly features of the vehicle include a large cargo area and a foldable passenger seat that can turn into a work desk. We should point out that its battery is charged with the help of solar panels, but it has AC/DC charging support.
