At the Frankfurt Motor Show held in 1995, Audi introduced its model called Tourist Trophy, or TT for short. Three years later, mass production of the vehicle started and Audi TTs took their place on the roads in 1999. Audi TT, which has been in production for approximately 26 years, ended after 3 generations and 662 thousand 762 vehicles.
The latest member of the Audi TT family is a TTS Coupe with a turbocharged 2.0 petrol engine and the same Quattro traction system as the S3. In fact, it was a great success for the Audi TT to remain in production for a quarter of a century in the automotive world, where first crossover vehicles and SUVs, and then electric motors, became popular.
