Engineer Ivan Kuleshov, who was one of the people disturbed by this situation and had previously modified the Mac Mini, decided to give the Magic Mouse a try.

In this study, the engineer first started by hacking the battery of the Magic Mouse. Thus, charging the mouse while in use is no longer a problem. He also created a new mold with a 3D printer to make it easier for the mouse to fit in the hand.
Not only that, the engineer had to make some additions to make the mouse’s buttons reusable. Spacers were added to the buttons because the Magic Mouse’s sensor needs to be in contact with the ground.
Kuleshov also shared on his blog what those who want to replace their own Magic Mouse should do. However, it should not be forgotten that such a change will definitely void the Magic Mouse’s warranty.
