Jin Fan, Head of Xiaomi’s team responsible for developing the MIUI interface, responded to rumors that company employees mostly use iPhones. In the past days, it has been claimed that Xiaomi employees do not enjoy MIUI at all due to software errors, and therefore they prefer the iPhone more. MIUI President Jin Fan denied these speculations.
“Xiaomi does not impose on MIUI workers”
MIUI President Jin Fan said that they do not oblige their employees to use Xiaomi phones. Expressing that everyone is free to choose their phone and they do not make any restrictions, Jin Fan added that he has personally preferred Xiaomi in the last 9 years.
Explaining that 95 percent of MIUI employees use Xiaomi phones, Jin Fan stated that the remaining slice prefers iPhone. Jin Fan stated that he recently bought the Xiaomi Civi model because he likes small screen and compact devices. He also underlined that he was extremely satisfied with the overall user experience with this phone.
According to the news of Gizchina, a company employee using a Xiaomi phone said that he could not give up Xiaomi, citing important features that make business life easier. The employee stated that he can integrate his work card, meal card, bank cards and many other things he needs in daily life with his smartphone. He also said that he can seamlessly connect to the Mijia ecosystem at home.
MIUI Head apologized for problems
MIUI President Jin Fan made a statement in August for bugs in MIUI 12 software. Speaking at a press conference, Jin Fan admitted that they failed to meet users’ expectations and apologized to all users on behalf of the company.
