How would you like to take a tour in the huge halls where Game of Thrones was filmed? If you have such a dream, it seems that your dream will come true very soon. A new GoT-themed tour of the museum and studio will come to life in the settings where the series was filmed, and will include props, costumes and other items from the days of filming.
The Game of Thrones Studio Tour will open at Linen Mill Studios in Banbridge, Northern Ireland, about 30 minutes from Belfast. The opening date is set for February 4.
Many of GoT’s stunningly beautiful rural locations are located in Northern Ireland, including Kings Road, Iron Islands and Winterfell. The new museum includes studios where interiors were filmed, such as the Great Hall in Winterfell and Daenerys Targaryen’s Dragonstone throne.
Tickets are on sale now. There is reportedly a strong interest in tickets, although the new Omicron variant is causing travel and event restrictions.
