WhatsApp introduced a selectable feature last year that allows messages to be deleted after a certain period of time. However, this feature did not have an option for time. However, a recent leaked report heralded an update that would make this feature more optional. More recently, WhatsApp announced this innovation in person.
With this update, which we will be able to access in a short time, the time options we set for the messages to disappear will increase from one to three. This, along with features like single-view photos, will separate WhatsApp from services like SMS.
It can be deleted after 24 hours and 3 months.
The disappearing messages feature, which was put into use last year, used to make the messages in a chat disappear 7 days after they were sent, if turned on. However, this process could not be performed for a shorter or longer period of time. Finally, WhatsApp announced the innovation it will make, realizing that people may want to use this feature at different time intervals.
Probably with the next update, 90 days and 24 hours options will be available for lost messages on WhatsApp. This feature will be used in one-on-one chats as before, and there is no option to turn it on automatically for each chat. So, for example, when you want messages to be deleted within 24 hours, you will select it by entering a person’s chat screen. Any message and media content you send will be deleted 24 hours after it was posted, like Snapchat.
