Android 12-based ColorOS 12 was first showcased by OPPO in September. OPPO has previously published a timeline for the phones that this version will come to. However, this list only included information about which months to come. OPPO has now shared the December release dates for the Find X2, Reno 6 series, F19 Pro+, A74 5G and more.
OPPO has announced the clear dates for ColorOS 12 Beta and Stable releases!
According to OPPO’s post, it will start rolling out Android 12-based ColorOS 12 Beta to OPPO F19 Pro+ and Reno 5 Pro 5G on December 10. The company will also provide this version to the A74 5G on December 28. The stable version is coming to Find X2 on December 20, Reno6 Pro 5G and Reno6 Pro 5G Diwali Edition on December 22, and Reno6 5G on December 28.
OPPO plans to distribute the ColorOS 12 update in batches on the dates it indicates. However, the update is only for India for now. No sharing has been made for other regions yet. However, it is expected to be clarified soon.
ColorOS 12 is planned to come to more than 110 models. OPPO seems quite ambitious about its new version. According to the company, ColorOS 12 will be the fastest release in company history. Although the version comes with Android 12, it is expected to receive all Android 13, Android 14 and Android 15 updates.
ColorOS 12 will continue to come to new phones next year. Although the exact dates are not known, the phones planned to arrive in the first quarter of 2022 are as follows;
